Hometown: I split my time between college in the Napa Valley and family in Redding, Northern California
Occupation: Full-time college student, but I'm also a desk receptionist (aka deskworker) in my dorm (and occasionally other dorms as well)
Education: I'm on my fourth year, but it's not over yet--I still have 1+ years to go. It's just all part of the *fun* of being an English Education major!
Interests: Reading, photography, travel, museums, art, music, video games, anime, writing, coffee, concerts, movies, shopping, and of course the people I heart muchly.

My Favorites
Color: Violet (couldn't guess that from the blog, could you?), green, red.
Animal: A tie between the komodo dragon and all those adorable black-and-whites (penguins, pandas, etc).
Pet: I love both cats and dogs but think I'm more of a cat person. I've had just about every pet out there, and reptiles and fish have always been popular. Right now I live in a dorm so I can only have fish, and I have two black mollies, Lancelot and Guinevere (I started out with pretty much all of Camelot, but in a strange twist of life imitating art, these are the two who survived.)
Movies: The Princess Bride, Moulin Rouge!, Garden State, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Lola Rennt, Little Miss Sunshine, Underworld, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Pan's Labyrinth
TV: The CSIs, the Law and Orders (but SVU is my favorite), Bones, Mythbusters, Scrubs, Grey's Anatomy, Brothers and Sisters, What Not to Wear, animes galore
Music: Symphonic metal is my favorite genre, but I also like regular metal, rock, alternative, classic rock, 80's pop, and lots more.

2. My boyfriend
Daniel (aka Dan, Danny or anything else I feel like calling him) is an art student majoring in product design in San Francisco, which is close enough so we can visit occasionally but far enough so that we perpetually miss each other and are technically a 'long-distance' relationship (which sucks, a lot.) He matches me nearly exactly for strangeness, which is probably why I love him so much. Dan and I have been dating for almost 3 years and have pretty much the cutest love story ever, but since I don't want to drive you away from this page I'll link you to it.



3. My friends & family
...are kind of one in the same. Not counting Dan, my best friends are my cousin Daylene and my three younger sisters. I have an awesome family and consider myself very blessed (well, most of the time.)
